We are a friendly,
mixed ability club and we're affiliated to the North West Kent Netball
League. From September to May, we train on Tuesday evenings from 7.45pm
- 9.15pm at the club. Matches are played in the Cold Harbor Leisure
Centre, Chapel Farm Road, Mottingham, on most Saturday mornings. At the
same venue, we enter a Summer League running from May - August, and
organise some training evenings during this time. Our ladies are from
all over London and the Southeast. from a 30 strong group, we draw two
teams in Aug / Sept trials.
Training
We enjoy the efforts of trainer Amy - to give us a run around
(although those of you who couldn't tell a bench-press from a trouser
press - don't despair - we will pant together!) We like to spend more
time playing games at Blackheath and welcome players of all abilities to
pop down.
Facilities
Club facilities include an outdoor floodlit concrete court, ladies
toilet & changing room & a much needed post-workout bar &
function room. Members can enjoy frequent club evenings and events
including the clubs other teams; Cricket, Football, Tennis and
reasonable priced drinks and friendly regulars!
Costs
A mere £2 per training / match is required (first training free!!)
and if you decide to join the club - fees are £50 for the year.
